Lipspeaker training

Hi Folks
Some people in the past have expressed a desire to train as a lipspeaker. I very recently heard that the Association of Lipspeakers (ALS) will be holding an assessment day in Manchester in November for potential trainees. Particularly, since professionally trained lipspeakers are becoming as rare as hens teeth !! and the user base continues to grow at such a fast pace.
