Seeking TOD to support profoundly deaf degree student
Hi,
I work as DSA Needs Assessor at the University of Bedfordshire, in Luton, and we need to arrange literacy support for a profoundly deaf student on a BSc Hons course (communication support is already in place).
I've tried BATOD (general secretary), the local council, our local colleges, and all I can find are people who offer support for under-16/19's, and our student is already in his early 20's.
Does anyone have any ideas of where else I could look? I'm also trying to get an idea of the hourly rate...
My contact details are: Karen.Farmer@beds.ac.uk / Tel: 01582 74 3422
Thanks!
K
