Unique New BSL Daily News Service is Launched

MEDIA RELEASE
DeafEducate is pleased to announce the launch of its new Daily News service,
where news items are uniquely presented in British Sign Language and English.
The Daily News caters for both Deaf and hearing people; aiming to extend Deaf
people's English literacy skills and help hearing people to develop their BSL
reception proficiency.
You have got to see it to appreciate its most unique feature - the sentence by
sentence translation. Surf to www.deafeducate.co.uk/DailyNews.asp to see for
yourself!
Steve Gibson, creator of the Daily News, said; "It's different! It's unique! It
is how English text should be translated into BSL. This is the future."
Funding is being sought to cover the cost of bringing in different signers and
producing additional pages daily.

Do you have Flash installed or have it enabled?

I found the link easy to use. I cut and pasted it into my address browser. I am currently accessing it in an IT classroom which has all the lastest software and hardware which I think has helped.
The only thing I do not like about news is that it always seems to be sad or about bad things that have happened. Please can we have one happy, positive story a week? We need a balance.

Glad you found the Daily News useful.
In reality, the web site should work in 99% of PCs and Apple Macs. Obviously, there are some old ones that will not accept the flash enabled web site.
I will bear in mind your comment about bringing in happy and positive news stories. I value your feedback, thank you.
