Ear Foundation Surveys
FOR THOSE WHO USE COMMUNICATION SUPPORT AND THOSE WHO PROVIDE IT.
Exploring communication needs of deaf children and adults in a technological era.
A survey by The Ear Foundation of those who receive communication support and those who provide it.
Supported by Signature
Are you deaf / have a hearing loss and use or have used interpreters or communication support workers?
We would be grateful for your help in exploring whether the communication support needs of deaf students and adults are changing – at school, at work or in the community. We would like your views as to whether your communication needs have been met, whether you would have liked, or would like, anything different.
The survey should take less than ten minutes to complete, and will be very helpful in planning future services.
You will find it online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/B53YLVK and a spoken and signed version of the survey at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n44IPUWCo9I
Your responses will be entirely anonymous and all data kept according to the Data Protection Act.
OR
Are you an interpreter or a communication support worker?
We would be grateful for your help in exploring whether the demands for interpreters and communication are changing and if so how. We would like your views as to whether the requests for interpretation or communication support are changing and your views for the future. We realise that roles are often flexible and changing, depending where you work, but we have chosen to provide only one questionnaire to cover all situations, and would be really grateful if you would complete it as fully as possible.
The survey should take less than ten minutes to complete, and will be very helpful in planning future services. You will find it online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FG6XW3F
Your responses will be entirely anonymous and all data kept according to the Data Protection Act.
Please pass on these invitations to all you think may be interested.
The survey will close on June 27th 2014.
With many thanks for your help!
