Arts jargon in BSL: an introduction.  A one day workshop

• Do you work in BSL with Deaf arts students at school or college or university?
• Do you interpret lectures at museums or galleries to a Deaf audience?
• Perhaps you are interested in getting involved in this area but don’t yet have the confidence?

If the answer is yes to any of these, come along to our one-day workshop on Saturday 17th May, taught by John Wilson in a friendly and supportive environment.  You will need to have at least level 3 in BSL to take part.

John is famous for his BSL work in the theatre and the arts, and is passionate about BSL as the principal medium in deaf arts.   He is a regular presenter at the Tate Britain’s  ‘Tate Talks’ and for many years was Deaf Arts Officer for Shape, the national organisation for promoting engagement of deaf and disabled people in arts and culture.

John will inspire you to update your skills and knowledge and you will enjoy exploring arts terminology in BSL with him in this informative and fun workshop.
