Saturday 8th May 2010
Members of the Deaf, deaf and deafblind communities, their carers, friends and families are warmly invited to come along to Hertfordshire Constabulary Police Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City on Saturday 8th May 2010. To meet the volunteer Link Officers, visit the County Control Room and experience the Emergency Text Messaging Service in practice. Many supportive charities and organisations will also be present such as the RNID, Hertfordshire Constabulary Crime Prevention, Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service, the Phoenix Group, Hearing dogs for the Deaf and many others. The event will be open between 10.30 and 2.30pm.
