An introduction to theatre interpreting

Examine the complexities of theatre interpreting and learn a basic approach for the development of skills in this creative area of work.

We will be covering:
- The background to theatre interpreting
- Scripts: how to prepare / where do I start / what do I drop?
- Whether you should use BSL or SSE when in interpreting in the theatre
- Information about theatre contacts, preparation materials and working in the theatre.

We are conveniently based in central London, 5 minutes from Holborn and Covent Garden tube stations
