Opening in Manchester Job club for Deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind !

Hello everyone

I'm so pleased to announce that the Manchester Deaf Centre on Oxford road will be starrting a job club fora all D/deaf, hard of Hearing and deafblind job seekers.

We have really drummed up a lot of support for this initiative from agencies such as Job centre plus, Manchester city council, connexions, next step and more.

The official opening date is the 12th January. From then on, it will be open every Thursday 10 am - 3pm, where there will be support for cv writing, filling in application forms, work shops etc and all the usual facilities for nework search.

We really could do with some more volunteers who have at the very minium completed level 2 BSL (if without then must have work search skills to offer).

Please spread the news, this is a good opportunity for the Manchester Deaf community to have something as positive and unique as this work search provision on the doorstep.
